Rollin Severance
Michigan Governor Candidate 1966

     Rollin Severance was founder and president of the Severance Tool Industries in Saginaw, Michigan.   He was also an Assemblies of God minister and was founder of the AG Church in Saginaw.  He allowed his employees to attend chapel on company time.      His service to the Prohibition Party was diverse and of long duration.  He was a candidate for governor and for other public offices; he served many years as a trustee of the National Prohibition Foundation; he gave generously of his financial resources and was a frequent speaker and national Party gatherings.  He died in September, 1984, at age 83.
     He was president of the Michigan chapter of the Gideons.
