Note:  Prohibition candidates ran for 31 of 32 seats.

Madison Larkin ran for both US Senate and US House simultaneously.  There is no doubt that the info is accurate.  Mike Dubin's book of congressional election returns confirms it.  Not every state made it illegal to run for two offices simultaneously.  Perhaps he won the Prohibition primary for US House on write-ins, or perhaps he filed for the Prohi primary ballot and the state printed his name on the primary ballot for both offices and he won both primaries, probably unopposed.  The party had a primary starting in 1906.

Winger found the following among other Pennsylvania data in The National Voice. A search of the Pennsylvania Manual and of several period atlases and gazetteers has not produced any “Polewjra Borough.”  It seems likely, therefore, that when the stone man composed this page of the newspaper, some unrelated type was accidentally included with the Pennsylvania type.  Does any reader know where “Polewjra Borough” might have been?
